Between My Boobs Gets Sweaty

[Festivals and curiosity: The Women's Day] Today is International Women's Day ... Here's the long and curious history of this party.

Even though I'm writing this post at 20:55 it seems to me just writing it because it is still March 8, is not it? ^ __ ^

I did some 'research because it has always been half mystery to me why this party and I wanted to see clearly.

The origins of this festival dates back to 1908 because in the first days of March of the workers (Cotton Textile Industry, if we want to do the finicky) in New York had begun a series of protests stoves uncivil environment in which they were forced to work. [Do not you blame for this, Indeed.]
On March 8, however, the owner - a Mr. Johnson, who reminds me most of the brand products for children in the textile industries XD - had the brilliant idea to close all these poor girls in the factory. Why you ask you .. Simple. Because he feared strikes and other events.
Misfortune willed that (coincidentally?) A fire broke out and the 129 poor women did dell'arrosto the end that we eat at Christmas. No should be 'we the people series since it's no laughing about' these things.
short, died in a horrible way, and frankly I would have killed her son putt er ... that bastard with my bare hands. -__-"

Anyway ...

from this sad event left everything because in the years following this event and began to celebrate this day in memory of women who had fought for their rights and had lost their lives in the fight like wild beasts. For the first time was something limited to the United States commemorative purposes.

After this date was proposed as international day of struggle in favor of women, while continuing to celebrate the tragedy.
There are also other versions of history, even if the meaning of the celebration never changes.

Years later, with increasing efforts by women and their demands on the working and social conditions, this date became important world, becoming the symbol of the injustices that women had faced throughout history, but also the beginning of a very important change.

A question that arises is: But as we have come to associate the mimosa Women's Day?

This choice was made in Italy in 1946, when the UDI (Union of Italian Women) was preparing "the first March 8 post-war" and wondered what flower would characterize this day for women.
You could use the red carnation for the Labor Day (May 1) and especially in the years of Fascism was a "clear signal" and without risk. But now the Roman women liked the yellow flower bouquet especially that flourished at the right time and, moreover, does not cost much.
From this small, curious discovery "flowering" was the symbol of 8 March.

I greet you with a song I do not know why, I find it ideal for this holiday.
Good evening to all with Wind of Change the Scorpions!
